The Summer Institute is designed for Florida teachers who advocate for Florida’s school districts, teacher education training centers, and the community at large, in implementing the teaching of the history of African people and the contributions of African Americans to society.

This three day commitment will take place June 15th – 17th, 2020 at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida. Tuition, Institute meals, hotel accommodations and state per diem will be provided ONLY. All other travel expenses will be the responsibility of the participant.
